The science of iridology is based on the analysis of the iris, and gives an essential insight to the development of chronic diseases. It gives a unique perspective to the concept and practice of preventative medicine. The iris is examined using a specially-developed Iriscope which greatly magnifies the details of the iris, and enables a skilled practitioner to examine and report on particular aspects of the patient's condition.
Every part of your body is related to a section of the iris, so your eyes can help pinpoint problems and inbalances. Iridology is a technique whereby a skilled practitioner can ascertain the reflex condition of various organs and systems of the body by examining the markers for signs of specific areas of your iris.
These markings represent an accurate and detailed picture of the integrity of the body, its constitutional strength, areas of congestion or toxin accumulations and inherent strengths and weaknesses. With this information, your practitioner can develop a health program which is tailored to the specific needs of the patient, thus preventing the manifestation of disease.
Iridology does not take the place of detailed medical practices and blood tests, but provides a useful complementary diagnostic tool to provide a holistic approach to preventative medicine.
“The eyes are the window to your soul…”
Iridology is the study of health via the examination of iris color, structure and markings. The iris is a very complex structure that contains a reflex connection to every organ and tissue in the body via the nervous system. The color, pattern, and location of markings in the iris can determine inherent weaknesses passed on from previous generations through genetics. These weaknesses may or may not be impacting on an individual’s life as a result of their own lifestyle choices, environmental or psycho-social factors.
Iridology is not a treatment. It is a process of gathering further information and assisting in finding the best possible treatment for an individual.
Melissa Hohaia is able to capture an image of your iris using a specially designed digital iris camera and then share the process of analysis with you while the image is displayed immediately on the computer screen.
If you wish to have a report printed and a copy of the image for your own records, this can be done for a small fee.
