Acupuncture
How Acupuncture Works
Acupuncture points are located at precise sites on the body that influence circulation, nerve pathways and the body’s regulatory systems.
Gentle stimulation of these points using very fine needles helps to:
Increase blood flow to targeted areas
Reduce inflammation and pain
Support the nervous system to promote relaxation
Enhance the body’s natural healing response
Treatments are individualised, and your acupuncturist will always consider your health history and current needs, as well as ensure you understand the process, what to expect and that you are comfortable before beginning acupuncture therapy.
Assisting the circulation of blood and flow of energy
Acupuncture is a safe, effective and holistic therapy that supports the body’s natural healing processes. Using very fine, sterile needles placed at specific points, acupuncture promotes healthy blood flow, reduces blockages, and restores balance to the nervous system. When circulation and energy flow are improved, the body is better equipped to heal and function optimally.
At Perth Natural Medical Clinic, acupuncture can be used as a stand-alone treatment or alongside other health care. It is commonly sought for pain relief, stress management, fertility support and overall wellbeing.
