Qualified Diploma of Health Science (Massage)

Having practiced as a therapist since 1992, Dharma brings a deep and complex understanding of the human body and how our physical form - and any pain or disease we are experiencing - corresponds with challenges we are experiencing in other aspects of our lives and ourselves.

Using a range of techniques including Myofascial release and deep tissue therapy, Dharma is an expert in postural realignments, releasing pain and physical tension resulting from acute injury and more chronic issues.

He incorporates his training in Somatic Psychotherapy into sessions where appropriate. With his holistic approach and seeing the human being as one system, Dharma understands that whatever is causing you distress or pain on a physical level is simultaneously causing issues on every level. The body is therefore an avenue into identifying and then treating a whole range of issues.

With this holistic understanding of the complex and multifaceted nature of the pain and problems being experienced by each unique individual, Dharma uses a range of techniques and approaches to provide personalised treatment programs that effectively help patients with a wide range of pain conditions.

As a Qualified Yoga Teacher, and certified Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) teacher, Dharma will often provide breathing exercises or yoga poses and stretches for you to complete at home between Remedial Therapy sessions.

Dharma holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and has studied numerous additional courses and techniques. These include Advanced Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue work, Trigger Point Therapy and Postural Massage.

Dharma is a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.
