Christabelle was born in the Sultanate of Brunei, moving from there at the age of six to spend some time in India before settling in Western Australia. After leaving school she was inspired to return to studying and embarked upon a science degree course at the University of Western Australia, graduating with majors in pharmacology and physiology, and a minor in biochemistry.

Unfortunately, Christabelle’s love of sport led to her sustaining a traumatic back injury resulting in her being unable to continue participation. Christabelle saw a podiatrist, and was amazed at the response of her body to this type of therapy. This inspired her to embark upon a degree in podiatry at Curtin University which she completed in 1991.

Christabelle then entered private practice in well-established clinics at Mount Lawley and Midvale and since that time has carved a very successful professional career for herself. She has also been the podiatrist to the State basketball team and football team.

With over 15 years experience as a podiatrist and working closely with a wide variety of other health professionals, Chris likes to take a holistic approach with podiatry as this ultimately leads to a more successful treatment. Although enjoying treating all aspects of podiatry, she has special interests in bio mechanics. Chris continues to update her skills, the latest being several Certificates of Advanced musculo-skeletal technique.

Christabelle is a member of the Australia Podiatrists Association and enjoys good food, cooking and the arts and has a very healthy outdoor lifestyle.
